All are welcome at any of our three services to celebrate the 2nd Sunday of Advent. Please note we have a policy of all people wearing face masks unless you are exempt. Please do not attend if you have a cough, temperature or are experiencing loss of taste or smell.
8am Book of Common Prayer Communion. A traditional language said service which lasts around 40-45 minutes. At St Andrew’s Church in Lower Bemerton.
10:30am All Age Worship at St Peter’s School Hall on St Peter’s Place. A non-communion service with readings and four Advent Carols/Songs. We will be learning about Prophets and how they point the way to Jesus. This service will last no more than 45 minutes and we will be serving tea, coffee, squash and biscuits after the service.
6pm An Advent Service with readings from the Bible, poems and Advent Carols. This service will last around an hour and is at St Andrew’s Church in Lower Bemerton. Please note the capacity of St Andrew’s Church is around 35 people and we will be ensuring good ventilation so please dress in clothing that will keep you warm. We will need to deny people entrance to the building once we get to our capacity to ensure everybody’s safety. We will, however, have additional carol sheets in case you would like to stand/perch somewhere safe and join in from outside the building!
