Bemerton Parish – Loving God and Loving our Neighbour

9am Book of Common Prayer Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A said traditional English language service using the Book of Common Prayer. The service lasts around 45 minutes.

10:30am Eucharist at St Michael’s Church, Bemerton Heath. A service using modern English which lasts around 60 to 70 minutes. We have four hymns during the service and some other singing but you don’t have to join the singing if you would prefer not to.

We believe in inclusive church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate.

We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.

We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.
