Bemerton Parish – Loving God and Loving our Neighbour

Sunday 21st December 2025 – Fourth Sunday of Advent

9am Book of Common Prayer Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A said traditional English language service using the Book of Common Prayer. The service lasts around 45 minutes.

10:30am Eucharist at St Michael’s Community Centre Main Hall, Bemerton Heath. A service using modern English which lasts around 60 to 70 minutes. We have four hymns during the service and some other singing but you don’t have to join the singing if you would prefer not to.

Christmas Eve – Wednesday 24th December 2025

9am Morning Prayer at St Andrew’s church. This takes up to thirty minutes.

4pm Carol Service at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A service using modern English with carols, readings from the Bible and other poems and reflections. A service lasting around 45 – 50 minutes.

10pm Our Midnight (in Bethlehem) Christmas Eucharist in St Michael’s Community Centre Main Hall, Bemerton Heath. A modern English language service with carols and some other singing if you’d like to join in. You are equally welcome to simply listen.

Christmas Day – Thursday 25th December 2025

9am Book of Common Prayer Communion service at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A traditional English language service with a couple of Christmas carols. This service will last around 50 minutes.

10am Christmas Day Eucharist in St Michael’s Community Centre Main Hall, Bemerton Heath. Modern English language Eucharist with carols and some other sung parts but you only need to sing if you would like to. This service will last around an hour.

Sunday 28th December 2025 – First Sunday of Christmas

9am Book of Common Prayer Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A said traditional English language service using the Book of Common Prayer. The service lasts around 45 minutes.

Sunday 4th January 2026 – Epiphany

9am Book of Common Prayer Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A said traditional English language service using the Book of Common Prayer. The service lasts around 45 minutes.

10:30am Eucharist at St Michael’s Community Centre Main Hall, Bemerton Heath. A service using modern English which lasts around 60 to 70 minutes. We have four hymns during the service and some other singing but you don’t have to join the singing if you would prefer not to.

4pm BCP Evensong at St Andrew’s Church, Lower Bemerton. A traditional English language service with three hymns and some additional sung responses. The service lasts around 45 minutes.
